sigh. cant believe it the term is almost over. one more day!!! (to be spent at bird park)(oh and jurong point)...

well, today, the morning started with assembly. ok fine, i was almost crying. seriously. and when prof lai handed the school flag to dr hang... everyone was screaming no. gah. couldnt let him hear anyway, ruin our image.

still, cant believe prof lai is leaving already. he was the one who went to talk at my school, and the one who inspired me to join the school... sigh. why does it have to end like this~~~~~~~~~~

anyway. jump jump jump jump to free period!!! played badminton like HELL. ok? wont be surprised if my arms break off tmr. timo was very accident prone today. got hit by wen bo, fell when trying to catch the shuttlecock, and i think he tripped somewhere too. sigh. poor timo. suhang and i got totally trashed by yuki. gaaah.

was trying uber hard not to fall asleep during french. suhang and i were like, sitting there with our eyes half closed, brain totally shut down.... -.-zzz *suhang pokes me* YEOWCH! *looks at her laughing evil-ly* yup thats how we managed to keep awake.

sigh. i'll try to sneak back into peps tomorrow morning. and hopefully... i'll run into him.

theres no use crying over spilt milk. hello, learnt this in primary school! its true! whats the point of moaning over what has already happened? get back up! the thing that really wins the battle is perseverence!!! think about what you are GOING TO DO, not what you ALREADY DID. i mean, if everyone broke down and gave up everytime something doesnt turn out the way it is, the world would be in a mess now! take thomas edison for example! how many times did he fail in making an effective light bulb? thousands! if he just simply gave up after the first failure, would there be lights now?

since today ran on friday's timetable, we had mentoring session. it was pretty fun... and touching in a way. we formed the words 'prof lai we 'heart' u, yr 1'...

prof lai saw it. sigh. i think he almost cried. im really gonna miss him man.

oh, and we fibos got the ROYAL TREATMENT. we were the ones who formed the heart and prof lai sat in the middle of the heart for the photo! YAY! ^^ we rule.bwahahahaha.

and i found out: nescafe latte doesnt give you enough caffine to survive through the day. bleeeehhhh.

heys guys. back to talk about what happened last night. this is NOT the thing i did on impulse.

was as usual, chilling out with my girls, when all of a sudden, these 18 or 19 year old guys came along and started shoutiing stuff like xiao jie whats your phone number etc etc. and guess what my two friends actually turned around. =.='''

then they walked off, but i managed to get a glimpse.

gawd want to flirt with us go get plastic surgery first.

anyway, i wanna skip BC classes for the remaining sem. its totally useless.

sometimes we do stuff on impulse. what i did last night near midnight was completely on impulse i have NO IDEAD WHY i did that. ok?

gawd damn the raging hormones.

impulses come and go, it all comes down to how you manage them. and i think sometimes they are good, cos you aint really serious about doing it, thus if things dont go according to plan, you won't feel that bad.

by the way, i never knew there were so many anti-twit blogs around here. rawr. these people rule. iie mwean, typpiing liike thish ish shoooo acting cute.

just watched this TV programme on national geographic. its about alien life forms, quite interesting really. talks about this planet near a red dwarf star 40 light years away from us. ecology, life forms, weather... the scientists took everything into consideration! pretty cool, what mordern technology can offer us. i mean, now we know much more about not only our planet, but others out there too.

yet, there is still so much to explore! i think this answers the question on suhang's lastest post, about why we bother to study so hard. the human spirit is never satisfied with what it already knows! thats how explorers, scientists, philosophers came about! because we want to know more, we want to understand more. personally, i am this kind of person. current questions on my mind:

can we REALLY travel back in time?
are there REALLY other life forms out there?
can i find a definete and effective cure for cancer?
and of course, the long considered question, why are we here?

to think about it, to the creatures we consider as 'extraterrestrial', may consider us as aliens. i mean, we are used to what we see, what we feel, what we experience everything, new things may seem 'alien' to us. a creature on another planet has, say, 6 eyes and 3 limbs. when that alien civilisation finds out about us, they might think: "what? 2 eyes and 4 limbs? how do these 'creatures' move? how do they live?" yea. apply newton's third law XD

the long unanswered question... why are we here? we werent the first creatures to walk this earth, and yet we are the dominating specie now. we survied throught the ages, erasing some of our fellow 'earth creatures' in the process. is it a good thing? is the arrival of homo sapiens necessarily a good thing for this planet? think! we are the ones who are destroying not only our home, but the home we share with so many other creatures! nuclear weapons, more contraptions that bring despair and terror. this not only affects us alone!

some may argue: but we are trying to save the endangered creatures now! HELLO. if we didnt make them face near extinction in the first place, would they need saving now?

sigh. what is happening to the WORLD?????
